1. Introduction

Welcome to BuilderBios, a platform owned and operated by Silo-In Inc. By accessing or using our services, you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions.

2. Use of Service

BuilderBios is designed specifically for construction professionals to create tailored resumes and cover letters. You agree to use the service only for lawful purposes and in accordance with these Terms.

3. Data Sharing and Usage

Your data is shared with Silo-In Inc. to enable access to advanced features such as automatic matching with companies looking for talent that matches your profile. We utilize the OpenAI API for Natural Language Processing (NLP) to enhance your resume and cover letter. This means your data is temporarily shared with OpenAI for inference purposes but is not retained beyond what is necessary for processing.

• Your data is stored securely in Ontario, Canada.
• We do not retain your data beyond the processing required for generating your tailored CV and cover letter.

4. Data Retention and Deletion

We conserve company profile information and anonymized candidate profiles in exchange for providing free services such as processing and preparing tailored CVs, cover letters, and company recommendations. However, user-specific data such as name, email, and location will be deleted upon request.

If you wish to have your data deleted or to terminate the link between your user profile and candidate profile, please email us at maria@silo-in.com with the subject line "DELETE ME".

5. Intellectual Property

All content, designs, and technologies used in BuilderBios are the exclusive property of Silo-In Inc. Unauthorized copying, reproduction, or distribution of any materials is strictly prohibited.

6. User Responsibilities

• Provide accurate and truthful information when using the platform.
• Ensure that any documents you upload do not violate third-party rights.

7. Disclaimer of Warranties

Our services are provided "as is" without any warranties of any kind, either express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy, completeness, or reliability of the information generated.

8. Limitation of Liability

Silo-In Inc. shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of or in connection with your use of BuilderBios.

9. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Ontario, Canada. Any disputes arising from these Terms shall be resolved in the courts of Ontario.

10. Changes to Terms

We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Changes will be effective immediately upon posting on this page. Your continued use of the service constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms.
